[26] SEO Your Blog
If you own a blog but are struggling with getting traffic without having to constantly promote and market it then my advice is to improve your search engine optimization (SEO). There a lot of very contested arguments on the various variable that are in SEO, but you will find most of the experts agree on two things: In order to become well optimized you must--Have reputable back links, these can either be reciprocal or one way.-You will also need to optimize your blog content to target certain keyword phrases. The initial part of all SEO tactics has to be the research of your keywords. You need to come to the conclusion of which keywords will be able to get you the most visitors compared with how much work will need to be applied to get there. Google have their own keyword tool to tell you how many searches per month each keyword phrase receives, alternatively there is a program called word tracker that does a similar job but on a daily search count. It is widely believed that word tracker is in fact more accurate than Google. You can use both of these applications and search for a keyword phrase using synopsis, this will supply you with many choices for your keyword. You will then have to look over the search results in the search engines to determine what competition each keyword has (ie is the competition page ranked highly). You now have to apply the on page SEO, to do this you can add your keyword phrases to your title and headers for each designated page. The next step would be to edit your blog posts, the reason you need to do this is because you want to include your keywords within your article, always try to make it look as natural as possible because search engine spiders are getting more and cleverer in hunting out spam articles. I would advise you have a 1-4% keyword density (base it on 1 keyword phrase for every 100 words). The final step, after doing your on page SEO is to do your off-page. This is by far the most important factor in ranking highly in search engines. You need to submit links to various directories, including your keyword phrase in the link titles. Write articles on various article website such as ezine, if you provide quality content for them they will in turn provide you with a quality back link (search engines love ezine articles). Another good way to get back links is to swap links with other blogs, these sorts of back links are not as effective as one-way links but it all adds a bit of power to your blogs engine.Ok, Lets Recap:SEO is extremely important to the success of you blog, I highly recommend following a SEO Guide. The good thing about having a well written blog is that if you got to a stage where you wanted to try something different you could possibly go down the freelance writing route and use your blog as the example of your work. If you need any advise on How to become a freelance writer simply read my articles.Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Conners_Hall_Brown
[23] Automate Blog Content Writing and Free Up Your Time
Writing content is one of the critical keys to successful blogging. In order to get good rating from Google, the blog's contents are preferably to be original and have good materials in it. Many amateur bloggers are facing problems in coming out with original and quality contents. Most of them search for related articles in the net and re-edit to make it original. The works involved in this method is tedious and massive especially if you are not an expert. After you exhausted everything, coming out with further new ideas for new contents could give you nightmares.
One alternative is to outsource your content writing to a third party coder. But this comes with a cost. Most probably the coder is also using the same method to search and re-edit articles in the net for you. Would these contents make money for your blog? It really frustrating when you cannot really get any confirmation on this.
To cut short your concern and save you time, I have did some researches on these products for my own blogging need. I found that " Auto Content Cash " has most of the solutions to my problems. With the system, you could save a lot of time on updating, writing, messing with themes and building links. The system just automate all these tedious processes.
If you have been trying to get free tips and guides from the net, I guess you will know by now that no Internet Guru is willing to give their secrets to you for free. Usually the free things that you can get in the net are incomplete and some are misleading.
Auto Content Cash cost only $47. If you are serious in making money online, I believe you really need to spend a bit to get the real secrets from the experts. Most important is whether the product really solves your problem. Let the system will take over your blogging jobs and you can have more times for other things.
If you decide to try the system, please screen through the review page carefully yourself. You can find Auto Content Cash in my homepage.

[21] Blog Titles - 3 Tips
Blog titles are one of the most important aspects of a blog, but often times are not given the importance that they deserve. As a professional blogger, I always tell new bloggers not to underestimate the significance of blog titles. It is the first thing a reader sees when they visit your site and will many times will determine if they stay and keep reading or leave. I often relate it to a newspaper headline, if the headline captures you will buy the paper, if not you will keep walking. Here are three tips to help you crafty killer blogger titles that will prompt that visitor to keep reading.
Create a purpose driven title. The headline will tell the reader what is to come and why they should read. By crafting this up front it will also help keep you focused.
It is also important to be descriptive and clear. For example, if my headline reads, "How to promote your blog," you know exactly what that post will be about. This is a solid headline because it is very clear, and if your visitor is interested in that they will read through. However, if you combine this with my next tip, you will then have the perfect title.
You will want to make sure you let the reader know what is in it for them. You should convey the benefit of what your article will deliver them. For example, you can say, "Tips to promote your blog and make more money online." This is a much more compelling blog title.
There you have it, three easy tips that should help improve your blog.

[19] How to Write a Blog
The Internet is rife with blogs (short for a web log) on every topic under the sun. From personal journal-type sites to music-review sites to fashion-criticism to political-commentary and everything between, you can find blogs on any subject you can think of. Why are so many people blogging?Blogging has gained immense popularity in the last couple of years, and thousands of new blogs are created each month. But why? Well, as technology evolves, so do we. The beauty of the Internet is not only the wealth of information it provides, but also the connectivity the access to the thoughts, feelings, opinions, pictures and videos of other people across the globe. Maybe it's because we're naturally voyeuristic, or maybe it's the innate human need to have a sense of community (we are social creatures, after all), but whatever the reason, blogging is wildly popular, and probably not going anywhere. In fact, as the news media declines in these tough economic times, bloggers are gaining more and more power in terms of taking on the role of opinion makers. Why should you blog?Blogging has a great number of benefits in fact, there are probably as many reasons to blog as there are types of blogs. Many people use blogs as an extension of their careers their blogs are forums by which their employees and/or clients can contact them and keep up with what's happening day to day. For others, a blog is an outlet for creativity. Writers, cooks, musicians, and designers are just a few of the types of people who can use a blog to share their passion with the world by posting poems, recipes, songs, general observations, event dates, photos and new projects. Some people use blogs simply to increase their web site ranking in the search engines, as regular updates help keep web sites relevant. And some people just want someone to talk to, so they talk to everyone via a personal-journal-type blog. Where can you get a blog? There a lots of free blogging sites to help you set up a blog and get started. Blogspot is a very simple one to use, and you can get set up and going in just a few minutes. But don't be fooled, just because everyone and their dog seems to have a blog these days doesn't mean blogging is easy. Successful blogs are relevant, topical, and regularly updated. How do you get started? If you want to start a blog, the most important thing to do is to choose a theme: what is your blog going to be about? Writing, painting, cooking, fashion, politics, sports? Try to narrow your focus to make creating content easier, a blog that's not narrowly-enough defined can cause problems when it's time to come up with something specific to write about. The most effective blogs tend to be those that are very specific in their subject matter, so don't just pick a topic, pick a niche within a topic. For example, if you're a trend-watcher, pick a specific area to focus on: new trends as seen where you live, for example. Or instead of starting a blog about sports, focus on one sport, or one state's various sport teams, or even just one team. The more narrowly you focus your topic, the easier it is to overcome writers block down the road, and to ultimately make your blog successful (that is, getting people, besides your mom, your co-workers and your spouse, to read it).Article Source: http://www.ArticleStreet.com
[18] The Essentials of Blog Posting
Blogging has probably been the most fun internet marketing activity I've undertaken in my online business. I love to write, and reach out to my website visitors with new information, news, reports, opinions, or articles that I've created that expose a little of my personality and give my readers something they want to hear. Not only is it fun, but it's free, profitable, and generates hoards of traffic to your site, provided that you make quality posts with quality content and know how to market your blog. There are good ways and bad ways to blog, so here are a few essential things to keep in mind when making your blog posts:First you have to write something that people will be interested in reading, and reading regularly. Posting your articles to your blog is the best way to get quality content on your blog, but it's also good to write about your own personal experiences and opinions. Your articles should be at least 500 words, and your personal comments can be shorter, but still containing quality content. You don't want to post just one fantastic article packed with content, you want to post many, and try to make a blog post every day, every other day, or even weekly so that your readers know that your blog is fresh and updated regularly. The first few months that your blog is launched are critical months when you want to attract a readership and give them enough that they bookmark your site to come back to it frequently. Giving your blog a domain name that's easy for them to remember and represents your content with good keywords is also a good idea. There's another thing you can do with your original articles to gain exposure to your blog, and that is submitting them to a blog carnival. This means submitting them to a site that features and summarizes maybe 5 quality articles on a specific topic. Other blogs will link back to this carnival host, giving you more quality traffic. Also, when you make a blog post, you can link to other people's blog articles, which leaves an entry on their post to your post. It may attract other bloggers to you, who may in turn link back to your posts. A good article directory to submit your articles to maybe once a week is Ezine Articles.Once you have a blog, you want to expose it to the right audience. A good way to do this is by making comments on other people's blogs whose content is related to your content. If you randomly post comments all over the place on blogs unrelated to what your site is about, then you won't generate the kind of traffic you want. Stick to your niche, and you will get readers from that niche wanting to click on your blog link at the end of your comments. It's also a good idea to encourage people to make comments on your blog posts, and to reply to these comments to keep a conversation going. The more comments that are left on your blog, the more other people visiting your blog will realize you have something important and valuable to say, and they will want to read it to find out what all the buzz is about.I have also joined a blog traffic exchange to get traffic to my blog, but you can also submit your blog to different blog directory sites, such as Blog Top Sites. This site allows you to add a small bit of HTML code to your blog so it can be rated in a particular category and will help get you more traffic and better ratings. If you remember to not only create quality content for your blogs, but also market your blog effectively by commenting, linking, and submitting regularly to the right places, you will be on your way to having a popular and well-visited blog!Article Source: http://www.ArticleStreet.com/
[17] Business Networking And Blog Courtesy-working On A Professional Link Campaign For Blog SEO
Business is all about networking, right? Plus, you likely know that you need to get some links to your website to build traffic. Since you’re a pro blogger, of course the first place you look for those much needed links is the blogosphere. However, some manners are in order when it comes to posting comments and linking to your blog from other blogs. It comes down to common courtesy. We’ve all heard the ‘golden rule’, right? Do unto others and all that jazz? The goal is for us to get a much needed backlink to our website, that’s true. But that’s not all we want. Spammy backlinks can be obtained pretty easily. There’s even software out there that will blast your links to a million different blog posts comment areas. But it’s not really what we want or need.I’ll tell you one reason why. Before even thinking about the other guy’s blog, and common courtesy, let’s consider your overall professional appearance. Think of your backlink campaign as one big press release for a minute. If you were blasting a press release to the major news networks today, you would want to present a super professional appearance right? You would want the world to see you as the undisputed expert in your field, professional, classy, the very best. Right? Then why would you use a different approach and spam your link across the blogosphere? Making you and your website (translate: your company) look cheesy and unprofessional? If you knew that was the way the world perceived you and your business, you probably would have thought twice about it before you used a link blaster and posted your link to a million spam blogs. The problem is that many businesses and many bloggers don’t think the internet is part of ‘the real world’. They don’t stop and think about the fact that their actions on the web can have the same negative impact that they would have in the real world when it comes to cheesy and sleezy promotion tactics.Nope, the internet is different in their eyes. They only know they need a bunch of links. It’s not important to them to build an overall web persona. PR is not a concern. But it should be. Because the web is no different than any other advertising medium. People are people, and if they read crappy comments that make you and your company look bad, they are not going to do business with you. Now, let’s also consider the other blogs out there and some basic manners. In the real world, that is the one that doesn’t have a keyboard attached to it, you need to have some etiquette when it comes to business networking, right? For example, if you are a member of the local rotary club, you don’t walk into the meeting each week shouting, “Make $5,000 every day using my secret methods”!Do you?No. You network. You shake everyone’s hand and say hello. You get into conversations and have intelligent discussions. You add something to the group as a whole. When asked, you give your expert advice and opinions and you build new relationships that turn into new client relationships. So why would you do it any differently online? When working on links from other blogs and other business communities, have the same manners you would if you were in that rotary club meeting. Be a contributing part of the conversation. Get involved and work on your professional appearance at the same time. Post relevant comments to the current discussion. Don’t interrupt like a thirty second commercial break, changing the topic so that you can promote your new product or service. Stay on topic and contribute something useful. It’s o.k. if you don’t agree with someone. Good debate can be good for business. Some people will agree with you and visit your site based on your professional opinions. But only if your argument is written professionally and with some class. Stay out of name calling sessions and stay away from labels. Don’t call anyone an idiot or a moron. In the end, you end up looking like one.Your comments are mini press releases. They are little road signs showing how professional you are. Or how unprofessional you are. Your public appearance is up to you. So have some courtesy when posting your comments. It will make the difference when it comes to how successful your linking campaigns are.Published At: Isnare Free Articles Directory http://www.isnare.comPermanent Link: http://www.isnare.com/?aid=275803&ca=Business

Hundreds of thousands of new blogs are created every day, and many people who blog want to turn their blog into a profitable home business. Unfortunately many of those blogs are doomed because of a lack of planning. You can turn YOUR new blog into a money-maker.Just follow these five steps. Notice that you need to complete four of these steps before you start blogging, so follow the steps in the order in which they're given. Here are the five steps to blog profits:1. Decide what you'll sell from your blogTo generate profits, your blog must make sales. Nothing happens until you sell something, so choose a profit center first. You can choose: to sell advertising from your blog; to sell a product or many products; or to sell services - your own services, or those of others.Selling advertising is a common and successful method of generating profits. To sell advertising however, you need content - the more content on your blog, the better. So if you choose advertising sales as a profit center, be aware that although your profits may be slow in coming, they'll constantly increase as long as you keep adding content. When you sell products from your blog, your profits will flow much more quickly. However, you do need to focus on sales, as well as on content. If you choose selling services, make a list of the services you and/ or others will be offering from the blog.2. How will you get traffic? Do you have some startup capital?A couple of years ago you could rely on RSS almost completely to get traffic to your new blog. Those days however are long gone.Make a list of ways you'll get traffic. If you have some startup capital, write down which methods of paid advertising you'll use, and when.3. Plan your content - this is vitalYour next step is to plan your blog's content. Don't omit this step. Most bloggers stop blogging because they run out of things to say.So write down your topics, and make a list of five to ten blog post titles for each topic. Your topics will become categories on your blog.4. Schedule content creation and marketing into your dayIf you want to turn your blog into a profitable home business, you'll need to blog every day. When will you blog? Early in the morning, or late at night? Schedule at least an hour a day to work with your blog. During this time, you'll create content, and will market the blog. Schedule the hour into your day, and keep to your schedule.5. Review your progressBlogs grow organically. If your blog sells advertising, you'll need to add more content than you will if you're selling products or services from your blog.Use a statistics package on your blog (Google provides free Google Analytics), and review your statistics once a week. Your traffic will grow as your blog marketing methods start to work for you.Once you have traffic, it's time to ensure that your traffic gives you a return on investment, so watch your traffic carefully, and assess whether you're getting the profits you want from your home business.Good luck with your blog: by following the five steps we outlined above, you'll be able to turn your blog into a home business money-maker.Published At: Isnare Free Articles Directory http://www.isnare.com/Permanent Link: http://www.isnare.com/?aid=238848&ca=Business
[14] Blog - Five Easy Blogging Tips For A Profitable Blog
Creating a blog is an easy way to get started making money online. However, as with any business, you need to keep your eye on your blog's profitability. If you're new to blogging, these five tips will help you to make money with your blog.
1. Set blog goals
Ideally, you should set your blog's goals before you create your blog. If you set your goals first, you will be able to estimate the potential traffic you can attract to your blog, and therefore the amount of income you're likely to make.
So before you create your blog, write down:
* Your blog's topic (for example: digital photography, or diet tips, or whatever topic you'd like to create a blog about);
* Use keyword research tools to discover how many people are searching for your blog's topic online each day:
If there are fewer than 100 searches, look for another topic. Don't shy away from topics which have lots of competition online - lots of competition means that there's a lot of interest, and a lot of traffic too. So if your topic has 5000 search a day, and millions of Web pages, go ahead and create your blog.
* Decide how you will make money from your blog. Will you sell advertising space? Sell products? Make a list of revenue streams for your blog;
* Estimate the income your blog will make in your first, second, third and fifth years. Yes, this is mainly guesswork, however it will motivate you to keep blogging when you see your blog's potential.
If you're completely new to blogging, and have no idea how to set your blog's goals, then get a blogging mentor, or ask questions at forums. Your blog has the potential to make a great income for you, if you treat your blogging as a real business.
Now you've set some goals for your blog, set up your blog and start blogging.
2. Diversify your blog revenue
In your first year of blogging, focus on creating content for your blog, and experiment with various forms of income. There's always a new income-generator coming out, so test out as many forms of revenue as you can.
3. Concentrate on content - make it useful
The bigger your blog, the more traffic you'll get from the search engines, and the more readers you'll attract. Therefore, concentrate on creating good content for your blog. All the time you spend on content will be rewarded.
4. Remember to use keywords in your posts
Once your blog's a few months old, the search engines will start sending you traffic. Keep that traffic coming by writing posts which include keywords, but don't go overboard. If you keep writing, you'll attract many "long tail" searchers.
5. Publicize your blog
Once your blog's making some income, set aside a portion of that income to promote your blog. There are many ways in which you can advertise your blog; again, experiment to see which forms of advertising work best for you.
Watch for other bloggers' advertising, and if you can see that bloggers are advertising in a particular area month after month, you can be sure that it's profitable for them, and will perhaps be profitable for you, too.
So there you have five easy blogging tips which will help you to create a profitable blog.

[13] Business Blog Success: 10 Tips For a Profitable Blog
You know starting a blog in connection to your business will expand your internet presence in a (hopefully) positive way and could potentially lead more customers your way, but have you considered how to make your blog contribute more to your overall profit margin?
Consider some quick facts on how you can turn your business blog into a money maker, or start one with that potential today.
1. This may strike you as obvious, but include a lot of links back to your company website. You can also talk about your business connections, but you don’t want to force-feed your products in a business blog. Your goal is to make your business visible and accessible so those interested will make their way to being future customers.
2. Just as with any marketing strategy, you have to know your target audience for it to pay off. A business blog is different from one designed for personal use because you want to attract and impress customers who will actually do business with you in the future. Therefore, your content must reflect information they are interested in hearing, and which shows you are an expert in the field that they can trust.
3. Don’t ignore people who are nice enough to leave you comments. Engage them and you never know what could come out of it! An active blog often leads to an active checkout system on your website, and you get that activity by interacting with others on the blog.
4. Same goes with other bloggers in your field of business. Interact with them and comment on their posts in your posts, so they in turn will comment you in the future. Other blogs with little links to your blog will lead even more people to your business.
5. Email subscriptions are gold! They allow you to communicate even more with those interested in your field, but they also give you valuable email addresses of people who could turn into future customers.
6. Take advantage of companies that have affiliate programs that are related to your field, but who are not direct competition for your own business. Your blog can earn you some extra profit when your growing fan-base clicks on those links.
7. Tackle the current news as it relates to your niche, and anything else of current relevance. Your blog is a marketing strategy, but this should not be obvious to those who visit the site. You want to show them you know what you’re talking about, you’re a great person, and you can be trusted. But you don’t want them to feel you are trying to sell them something just yet.
8. Link to popular social-networking sites as often as you can, and open your own accounts on those as well, if possible. The hope is that your readers will quote you on those sites, leading to thousands of extra hits on your blog as a result.
9. Take advantage of blog directories that are free. Submit to as many as you can to get your name out there as much as possible.
10. Get the goods on inserting keywords into the text before trying to do it. If you simply stuff your blog full of words that make no sense in the overall context, you are destined to fail both with your fan base (or lack thereof) and with the search engines.
If it looks like a business blog takes a lot of work, you are right. The good ones take some thought, planning and genuine interest in the field. But the payoff in profits can be huge, so jump in and see what you can do!

[12] How To Create A Loyal Readership With Your Blog
One of the main differences between a blog and a static website is the way people are able to interact with your content. With a static site it's just people reading words on a page. When you have a blog they can explore and even comment back! You want to get that sort of interactive spirit going so you can create a loyal readership with your blog. That doesn't mean it's easy! There are literally millions of blogs out there all vying for the attention of your audience. It can be even harder to grab people's attention when you're just getting started. The bad news is that it's going to take some work and dedication to build up a loyal readership. The good news is that it's very possible, and even fun, to put these things into place. Follow these rules and you'll have the kind of repeat visitors and fans that really make blogging worth your while.Rule #1: Write Great ContentLet's face it; if your content stinks there is no way people are going to come back and read again! They'll just click away, never to return. If you write great content, however, you're sure to get some fans. Not everyone considers themselves to be a good writer. That's OK! No one expects you to have perfect grammar and spelling. It's far more important that you write interesting content that stands out from the crowd. Give your real thoughts and opinions on things that matter to the audience. When you write great content, not only will you have people who want to visit your blog all the time. They will also link to you! You know that more linking means higher rankings in Google. That's definitely a great thing that will expand your readership base to levels you couldn't even imagine when you got started.Rule #2: Leave the Comments OpenIt's amazing -- but there are bloggers out there who close their comments! While it can be a lot of work to try and get rid of those spam comments, you're also missing out on a big part of what being a blogger is all about. You need to let the audience write back and speak their mind too. People don't just want a website they can read anymore, they want one they can add their "2 cents" to. So, leave your comments open and listen to them. It doesn't matter if people always agree with you or not (they won't!), you'll get a much larger and interested following.Rule #3: Guest BlogThe chances are good that there are some blogs out there that are very well-liked by the people in your niche. These blogs probably get a lot of traffic and a lot of respect. It's time to get your name and website out there in front of this audience! All you need to do is write to the owner and say that you'd like to write some guest posts. They will probably be more than happy to take a break from their own posting and to give you a link back to your blog. This will not only give you link juice for the search engines, you'll also win some of their loyal readers who are interested in what you have to say.Learning how to create a loyal readership with your blog is incredibly important if you want your blog to thrive. It's all about the people, and making sure they are aware of your blog and love your contentsource article : http://www.articlesbase.com/blogging-articles/how-to-create-a-loyal-readership-with-your-blog-789504.html

[4] Blogs Blogs Everywhere But No Good Host In Sight
So you have taken that first step. You are going to jump right into the blogosphere. That magical world where everyone is a journalist. Or a citizen-journalist as they are called.A blog is short for "weblog." A technology that allows you to post your thoughts, ideas, images, videos, emotions, rants, raves and more with just a few clicks. Indeed it is the onslaught of the blog that has heralded the new age of Web 2.0But, even if the software technology is new, it is still dependent on the age old hardware technology of web hosting. If only that was not the case.Accepting reality and moving ahead let us see what is needed from a web host for hosting a blog. Well, mainly the requirements for hosting a blog are similar to those required for hosting a web site. The disk space, bandwidth, and speed will make all the difference. Naturally, price will be a consideration too.But other than the usual, there are some special considerations for blogs. For one, the hosting provider should allow the use of databases. Additionally, it would be great if there was a script that the hosting service provided that would install the blog for you. Of course, if you are technically qualified this may not help much. But, if you are a newbie, you want to stay away from all that jazz and simply focus on reaching out to your readers.I am one of those buyers how are very price conscious. But, before you go ahead and purchase hosting, let me point out that changing web hosts can be a pain. So, think a little beyond the deepest discount you can get and focus on building a long term relationship with your blog host.To begin with make sure that your blog hosting provider has been around for some time. It does not have to one of the big names in hosting. But, it must have an established track record. Second, try to ask some pre-sales questions. If they cannot service you well at the pre-sales stage, it is unlikely that they will come to your rescue after you are already a client. Finally shop around and ask for opinions. If you are setting up more than one blog, try more than one hosting provider before settling on one for the long term. Once you find what you are looking for, you will know where to host your next blog.Published At: Isnare Free Articles Directory http://www.isnare.comPermanent Link: http://www.isnare.com/?aid=181232&ca=Internet
